The perfect partner for every adventure under the sun.
ANESSA is a Japanese suncare expert brand established in 1992. Going beyond sunscreen, the brand helps people lead healthy, active, fun-filled lives under the sun.In 2020, ANESSA aimed to expand its presence overseas — especially in China, a market where awareness was relatively low. To increase awareness and win new customers, Shiseido Creative Co developed a collaboration between ANESSA and Pokémon under the creative concept of “Where do you wanna go next?” — framing the two brands as the perfect partner for every adventure under the sun.
Tails were included on the back of the Pikachu and Eevee designs to show the sex of the character. Such details helped to created a real buzz on social media.
FUNCTION MOVIE
A series of short, animated movies described the product function through the powers of each Pokémon character.
