The SHISEIDO Global Flagship Store is the world's largest street-level flagship store operated by Shiseido.
The store embodies SHISEIDO's brand concept, ALIVE with Beauty, and aims to provide customers with a vibrant beauty experience. Consisting of three floors, each level features various content, including interactive testers that allow customers to experience cosmetics through all five senses. There is also personal beauty counseling and an advanced meditation experience — the first of its kind in Japan.
The store’s design concept is “Japanese Digital Garden,” symbolizing the Japanese sense of beauty and nature. The design incorporates materials inspired by Japanese paper, wood, and Nishijin textiles, as well as the sounds of water and visions of flickering light.
The overall experience is brought to life with cutting-edge technology.
The concept of the 1st floor is “EXPLORE BEAUTY.”
Visitors can stimulate their five senses, experiencing various aspects of the brand and its products.
The DIGISKIN TESTER allows visitors to find their perfect product without having to communicate with sales staff.
The concept of the 2nd floor is “CREATE BEAUTY.” Here, beauty consultants offer personal counseling to bring beauty to life.
Skincare lessons provide holistic solutions that not only provide information on skin, but also exercise and diet regimens that are tailored to the visitor’s lifestyle.
The concept of the basement floor is “AWAKEN BEAUTY.” Here, guests are released from their daily lives and receive a program to enhance their inner beauty. Through a unique meditation experience, visitors can awaken a new aspect of beauty. The experience includes brain blood flow measurement, binaural beat sound, a fragrance to awaken inner beauty, and a visualization of each guest’s state of being.
