A single sheet of paper creates sculptural beauty. Using only minimal processes such as cutting and folding, we search for the highest expression of beauty. This series of window displays at Shinbashi Enbujo was created together with Clé de Peau Beauté products, making visible various elements that compose a stage.

The first piece has the theme of “Music.”
Vertical continuous slits transform the paper into the impression of piano strings. Light and shadow flow across the surface as if the keys were being played.

The second piece has the theme of “The Performer’s Aura.”
Polygonal ridges shaped by horizontal cuts amplify the light. Reflections escaping from the slits and the gradation of brightness created by folds interact. Moving lights weave an unpredictable interplay of shadow and depth.
