Since its founding in 1872, SHISEIDO has upheld a deep respect for nature, the environment, and society—pioneering efforts to create lasting social value. For the cover of its Sustainability Report, we brought to life the company’s vision of a future shaped by harmony between people and the planet.
Guided by its mission, “BEAUTY INNOVATIONS FOR A BETTER WORLD,” SHISEIDO seeks to build a society where beauty inspires a sense of well-being and happiness for all—through a distinctly beauty-centric approach.
At the heart of the cover illustration are people of diverse backgrounds, looking ahead toward the future. Surrounding them is a richly animated world where natural elements—sunlight, clouds, mountains, trees, rivers, oceans, and birds—blend seamlessly with human-made structures like buildings and homes. Together, they form a lively, hopeful landscape.
