The Journey To Beauty
Shiseido’s Osaka Ibaraki factory opened in 2021 as a production site for prestige skincare products.
BEAUTY SITE invites factory visitors to discover the mysteries of cosmetics through an interactive tour. Shiseido Creative Co designed both the space and overall experience under the concept of “The Journey to Beauty”, with surprises, learning and kando at every corner.
SHISEIDO BEAUTY SITE resembles a city through which
“The Journey to Beauty” can be experienced.
From the museum to the lab and the marché,
each area offers hands on learning experience
that allow visitors to uncover the secrets of beauty.
Design keywords included “infiltration”, “transparency” and “drip”.
A monotone color code with gentle accents give the space a unique look and feel, while the eye-catching architecture and use of glass throughout create a clean, cosmetic atmosphere.
From logo to interior and everything in between, BEAUTY SITE follows a coherent, seamless concept that truly brings the space and the experience to life.
